Saint Adalbert Association
Saint Adalbert Association is the oldest and largest association of Catholics in Slovakia. The association has over 98,000 members in all Slovak regions and even abroad.
Saint Adalbert Association was founded in 1870 by a Catholic priest and linguist Andrej Radlinský with the aim of spreading education, deepening religious life and reviving the idea of national identity among Slovak people. This was part of the process of raising awareness and strengthening the national identity that took place in the 19th century.
Currently, Saint Adalbert Association is the largest catholic publisher in Slovakia. It publishes quality spiritual literature as well as liturgical books, offi cial documents of the Catholic Church and the Bible.
